Asparagus Casserole

1 c Soft bread crumbs, buttered
2 tb Butter
2 tb Flour
1/2 ts Salt and pepper
1 c Am. cheese
4 Hard-cooked eggs
1 cn Asparagus (# 2 cn)
2 Pimientos, cut fine
1 c Milk

Make sauce of milk, butter, flour, and seasonings. Add cheese and blend. Place 1/2 buttered crumbs in bottom of casserole; put in layer of asparagus and hard-cooked eggs sliced. Pour 1/2 sauce over, add another layer of each and resto f sauce and bread crumbs on top. Bake 350 for 15-20 min.
