Sausage Casserole

2 lb Sausage
1 Green pepper
1 lg Onion
1/2 bn Celery
2 pk Chicken Noodle Soup
4 1/2 c Water
1 c Uncooked rice
1 cn Slivered almonds
1 cn Water chestnuts

Cook, drain and scramble sausage. Dice pepper, onion, and celery and cook in sausage grease until soft. Cook the Soup in the water. Add rice. Combine all, except last two, ingredients and place in a greased casserole. Drain and slice chestnuts and sprinkle on top of the casserole. Sprinkle almonds on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
