Cabbage Casserole

1 sm Cabbage; coarsely chopped
1/3 c Toasted sliced almonds
1 c Grated Cheddar cheese
1 Jar chopped pimiento; (8 oz)
2 Hard cooked eggs; chopped
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
3/4 c Crushed Ritz crackers
2 tb Butter

Combine cabbage with 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and steam 3 minutes. Drain and discard water. Mix steamed cabbage with next 6 ingredients. Spread into a greased 11x7-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with crushed crackers. Dot with butter. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 minutes more. Yield: 6 servings.
