Spicy Lentil and Vegetable Casserole

250 g Broccoli
60 g Ghee
1 md Onion, chopped
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
1 ts Curry powder
1/2 ts Garam masala
1 1/2 c Red lentils
2 Potatoes, chopped
2 Carrots, sliced
4 c Water

Cut broccoli into small florets. Heat ghee in pan, add onion and garlic, cook, stirring until onion is soft. Add curry powder and garam masala, cook for 1 minute, stirring. Add lentils, potatoes, carrots and water. Cover, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in broccoli, simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
