Crab Casserole

1/2 to 1 cup Crab Meat
3 chopped boiled eggs
1 cup evaporated milk or light cream
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 tsp. grated onion
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can sliced water chestnuts
Butter to taste
1 1/2 cups fine bread crumbs (reserve 1/2 cup)

Combine everything and top with the reserved 1/2 cup crumbs and dot with butter. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 F.
