Oyster Casserole

24 Oyster crackers
2 dozen stewing Oysters & liquid
2 hard-cooked eggs, finely chopped
2 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 tsp. butter

Butter 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Crush crackers with rolling pin. Combine all ingredients. Cut Oysters to suit, dot top with butter. Mixture should be thin. Bake at 375 F for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

It's a fine accompaniment to any meat dish.
