Beef Casserole

1 lb Beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1 md Onion, sliced
3/4 c Water
3 c Kraft American cheese, shred
2 c Potatoes, chopped
1 pk Frozen peas and carrots 10oz All purpose oil
1/2 c Dry bread crumbs
1 tb Margarine, melted


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour and seasonings and coat meat. Brown meat in oil and drain. Add onion and cook until tender. Add water and bring to a boil. Stir in cheese until melted. Add potatoes and vegetables and mix lightly. Spoon into 2 quart casserole. Combine bread crumbs and margarine. Sprinkle crumbs over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
