Crab and Artichoke Heart Casserole

1 stick butter
4 Tbsp. flour
1 pint milk
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt and cayenne pepper
1 tsp. grated onion
1 cup grated cheese (shredded Cheddar)
3 (6 oz.) cans Crab Meat
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 large can artichoke hearts
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs


Melt butter, stir in flour. When smooth paste, add milk slowly and stir until thick. Add seasonings, onion and 3/4 cup grated cheese.


Flake Crab Meat, slice eggs, slice artichokes in half lengthwise and place in oblong (9 x 13 inch) casserole. Cover with sauce.


Add remaining 1/4 cup grated cheese to bread crumbs and sprinkle over top. Bake at 325 F for 30 minutes.
