Crab and Artichoke Casserole

1 stick of butter
3 Tbsp. of minced onion
1 quart of cream
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup white wine
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 cups Crab Meat
3 (9 oz.) packages of frozen artichoke hearts
2 1/2 cups shell macaroni
2 cups grated gruyere or Swiss cheese

Cook macaroni and artichokes according to package directions. Sprinkle lemon juice and juice over Crab Meat and set aside. Melt butter until golden brown and stir in flour. Remove from heat. Add cream and stir until smooth. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Add wine. Combine Crab, artichokes, macaroni and sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes. Serves six.
