Turkey Casserole

8 oz. package bread cubes
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
1 cup water
2 1/2 cups diced turkey or chicken or Tuna
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup celery
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Grated Cheddar cheese


Mix bread cubes, butter and water. Place 1/2 of the mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan. Add turkey, onion, celery, mayonnaise and salt. Add other half of dressing. Beat eggs with milk and pour over. Refrigerate overnight. Take out 1 hour before baking and pour over the mushroom soup. Bake uncovered 40 minutes at 325 F. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake 10 minutes more.
